Back to The Usual Routine

This is my second day back to the college. back to the model-making mode. and yes, UHU my very bestie is back to his service.

finally done what i should have done for the second day. a little picture as a record. =)
gonna wake up early in the morning for the nine o'clock class. it has been a while since i ever timed my cellphone for an alarm. at this moment i wish all the classes are all at the night time. but thinking aback, it is a bad idea!

till then

The Very First Year Two

the first week of returning from my hometown to BU i would say i got this horrible feeling. everyday i've been whining why why why? why in a blink the holidays just ended up so fast like this. i guess this is the disadvantage of having too long holidays. there is something... something as heavy as tons of stone dragging my heart. T___T i miss the holidays. i miss all the awesome and bitter stuff happening in and out throughout my five solid months.

on the very last sunday, finally met up with almost every of my close coursemates. i felt magically jubilant. they are just like my another family here. without them i'm just feeling so not-home. it was hard to go through sunday. because once i go to bed at that night, i knew in the morning i'll be waking up preparing to walk into the red and white building which is KBU International College. how i wish that night would never end.

perhaps that is a little transformation of me. i treasure my sleeping hours so much that i slept so early at 1130 that night. i used to be refusing to sleep with the silly thoughts that i dont want to let the night stops. anyhow, monday morning i woke up cleaning up myself and walking briskly with the same old housemates a.k.a coursemates to the college. finally i'm back!!

first day was great. i was so excited to meet up everyone. it was great partly because i smiled so broadly and i find myself greeting all my friends with a hi and a wave. =) it's been five months we never met! Afterall i realized i was missing the college actually. Once again we conquered the whole lecture hall listening to all the brief from my course coordinator. Excited to know our respective groups and upcoming projects. And i find the crazy week project is at least much interesting than the one i had last year. just that i'm so amused that why the orientation project is building piles of rubbish again? A while ago i was feeling so stressed up because i have to accept the fact that i am entering year two. those sleepless nights and tension. but now, lets do it babeh! strike it!

Insomnia

almost every night i tell myself please let the crap out of my mind. i dont know why the more i remind myself the more the nonsense is bugging me. i cannot bear with the insomnia nights anymore. maybe i should consume sleeping pills. maybe i really should.

Summary of Summer Break

Now, counting few more days until my summer break officially ends. I decided to summary up the whole five awesome months of summer break.

1. TRAVEL!
Traveling is one of my interest. if only i have lots of money, i'll just surf airasia.com, blindfold my eyes and click on the mouse selecting a random place to go. i'm just so envy of those travel bloggers. where on earth they got so many money to travel?

straight after the finals, bunch of coursemates decided to visit the nearest island. Pulau Ketam and dropped by at Klang. I had this bad somehow fun experience in cycling. (picture 1- 3rd pic from the top) Everyone knows how to cycle. but just me. i dont know why during my childhood life i never get to cycle before until i first get to ride at the age of 16. so grateful that the buddies all willing to teach and guide me patiently. A day before we went to Pulau Ketam, we stayed overnight at CK's house. We had lots of fun at his house for the barbeque dinner. (picture 1- 2nd pic from the top)

After few days returning from Pulau Ketam and Klang, we headed to Penang. (picture 2- 1st pic from the top) Met up with three besties, eevee, huihwa and fangyee. get to know a good tourist guide too. hai feng. Penang trip turned to be another sweet memory. we took lots of pictures and never tired of non-stop eating. Until today i still miss the food there.

No sooner after i returned from Tawau, i met up with Yih Fui that hilariously suspected herself caught with h1n1. off i flew to semenyih. lol. overnight at her place for two days that out of the sudden turned out to be another outing. she brought me to the nearest temple at Brogga (picture 2- 2nd pic from the top), had this fish cooked in foil and the long-renowned satay kajang.

On the mid of August, It was a little farewell to timothy boss for he's leaving to USA for another three years before he flies back to Malaysia. We decided to visit Malacca, the historical town. (picture 2- 3rd pic from the top). One of the moment of insanity was our attempt to jump over and over again. it was such an impromptu idea. And the pictures we captured were hilarious and memorable.

2. BIRTHDAYS

Picture 3

Picture 4

In between the month of April and September, there were so many birthday darlings. (picture 3 & 4) Huihwa, two of Qiao Xiang's Friends which i still unable to remember their names. haha. followed by lawson, brother ryan, terry chin, hazli and ken. but this year i've got to miss few of my coursemates birthday because they went back to their own hometown.

3. SRI MAWAR PEOPLE

the clique i always stick two over these two years in KBU only remain cendy and ken around. It was like we only have each other now. hahah. and of course the sri mawar people. of seniors and gd people.
Picture 5

Picture 6

we hangout a lot. shopping together, yamcha, bookfair and most of the dinner. we went for good-pampering food like fish & co, Chilis, Shogun, Shabu Shabu Puchong, Wong Kok Char Chan Teng and the list goes on.

4. WORK

I just couldnt bear to let myself staying in my room and staring at the four walls in my bedroom. That makes me terribly guilty! One of the reason i insisted of spending three and a half month in selangor instead of staying at Tawau, Sabah is because i'm so eager to work and to earn. Throughout the holidays i worked for two companies: Captivate and Ren Events.

Picture 7

Picture 8

the first job was DJ for Enfa Mother's Day Event followed by Milo Fuze, Haagen-Dazs Apricot & Cream, Solivite, Lancome, Avent and last but not least Lux. There was this day when i went for a training at the office, the trainee out of the sudden called up my name in the training room. She said i was a very experience promoter and asked whether i got anything that i would like to share. Every heads of the other promoters in the room turned to me. I was like... whoa? a little tension given by the trainer so that i must perform well in the role play later. but well, still a good performance from me. =)

To summarize everything, i took seven different jobs in four months. Funny tho. total seven jobs all are actually a promoter job. i guess it's time to leave. i want to try other things.

5. FUN AT OUTSTATION
it was one whole month with lancome. the first part time job that i worked for so long with. knowing the girls tian yuh, alicia, julien, veronica, nicole, amy, coleen and ester not forgetting all the staff in Ren Events was a blessing. The girls and i are so close now. like sisters. =) we worked around klang valley, johor, kuantan, penang and last but not least ipoh.

the outstations are awesome. the two night at johor was a drunk night because we hitted the club straight after the work. Kuantan was great too. i love the working environment there. we went to the beach on the very last day and ended up that my legs are in two tones now. the outstation to ipoh was short and rush. but it was also the farewell to the girls and to lancome. i will miss you all deadly.

still, am glad that we still hangout together after the job ended. karaoke and steamboat dinner.

6. GATHERING WITH HIGH SCHOOL FRIENDS
One of the thing that i really glad that i have done was the little gathering with my high school friends. it never come to my mind that it has already three years since i left secondary school. and after all, i still able to meet them up at west malaysia. the first gathering was with tim, which i never get to see for two years, victor the one that will be always with his dslr from now on, khailoong moving to ums now, siau yik, the one that i always resemble my brother a lot and yea one of my bestie fangyee.

the second gathering was because of the arrival of huihwa. we gathered again for ice-skating. glad to see all of them that day. the third gathering was with michelle, liew and also victor. =) they are the bunch of great friends i have. =) till when only we'll able to gather again?

that's the whole story of my holidays. and for sure it is the whole five month of fruitful holidays that i have gone through.

I tell you the hotel is absolute impressive located on the middle of the sea. Like another extended island. Known as Al burj which is also one of the iconic buildings that never fails to become the architects and designers' topic. Seriously im so green in envy now. When can i go?

hello all. finally after three and a half month staying at Petaling Jaya, i am going back to my hometown again. haha. i am going back twice for the same holiday! =) gosh.. seriously miss the food there. tapao anyone? no worries will bring back the food to selangor. but in photographing form. haha! and i'll be away from any networking system for whole two weeks. i'm letting computer and internet go with a willing heart. =) so this time is different.

Exceeded Total Photo Upload Quota!!

Free storage

Free storage space is specific to each product. Picasa Web Albums offers 1 GB of storage for photos and videos only. Gmail provides 7.3 GB (and counting) which is reserved just for Gmail messages. Free storage from one product cannot be used by or transferred to another product.

All photos posted to Blogger are included in the 1 GB of free storage allotted to Picasa Web Albums

Paid Storage

When you run out of free storage for any product, you can purchase additional storage that is shared between products. This shared storage can be used for Picasa Web Albums uploads, Gmail messages or a mix of both - it will be used by any product that's over its free storage quota on a first-come, first-served basis. Choose from the following storage plans:

  • 10GB - $20/yr
  • 40GB - $75/yr
  • 150GB - $250/yr
  • 400GB - $500/yr

I deleted my previous post which i have posted up two hours ago. two hours ago i was so frustrated and emo because i couldnt upload a single of photo to my blog anymore. I was notified that I have exceeded total photo quota. which literally means i uploaded too many pictures to my Picasa Album which only provided 1gb of space for all to photos. I never knew PICASA got its limit! to all picasa users, do not upload too many pictures to picasa. if not, u'll end up like me. by then, i only came to three solutions.

1. delete the albums that i have uploaded earlier on
2. sign up for new account for picasa and blogger. which means i have to leave this blog and start blogging in a new webpage.
3. pay money to buy more storage for picasa.

after considering long, i decided to pick solution no1. i decided to delete all the pictures in picasa that i already stored in my hardisk. i only will remain those pictures that i've lost. apart from that, i will not upload a single photo anymore to picasa. i'm moving to a new account.

but in time, once i flooded picasa with pictures again, i will not have any choice anymore. but to pick option no2.

Blood Donation

after i refuse for so uber long, finally ah ken and cendy had made it to drag me into the hole of BLOOD DONATION. I never donated any milliliter of my precious blood before. NEVER. well, except the fact that girls have to donate their blood every month no matter they like it or not. ok, not that i never did anything good and generous before. but i'm so scared. i always thought that blood donation used to be something simple. like just inject the needle then the nurse would just get a test tube size of blood from you. but when i followed the bunch of coursemates to the blood donation hall on last year's event at KBU, i was so terrified to see omg.. IT'S ONE BIG PACKET of blood it's not one test tube. what was with the long tubes all over your hand? allright, just me with those bad thoughts.

and today when i submitted the form that i had filled up to the doctor, i was carrying this huge hope that the doctor would tell me that i couldnt donate. whatever the reason. i told the doctor i was sick several weeks ago. i had flu, cough, sore throat, fever whatsoever. gastric. i consumed medicine. and i insisted that it was one to two weeks ago. still, the doctor said ok i can donate. then i was like trying to reconfirm and highlight that whether it is really okay for me to donate.
pleaseeee tell me that i'm not allowed to donate.

don't blame me that i sounded of not willing to donate. i was just horribly nervous

but the doctor asked me to proceed to another table. to start testing my blood and the nurse got me a new blood donation book. when the nurse leaded me to the lazy chair in the hall, i made this evil face to cendy and ken. which two of them were lying there donating their respectively B and O group of blood. i didnt even dare to take a short glance to all the process. you know, when the long shiny needle is pierced into your thin skin. ouch. it hurts a little like some sort of insect bites you.

i just kept my soul and mind calm while watching to the huge lcd screen screening the movie of Seventeen Again by Zac Afron. after a while i turned my head to see what's all the tube and packets all about. omg omg omg... a huge packet of blood!
my blood. 300g of my blood!

and after all, nothing so big deal about blood donation. everyone does that.
it's not anything scary though. i just always frightened myself. hahha.

i guess after this, i'll still donate. =)
you should donate too.

spot cendy and ken? smiling so happily to me. and that's my leg with the blue cloth covering my leg. and the huge lcd screen to kill the time while donating the blood.

overall on Malaysia's Independence Day, i went to City Harvest for food and donation, KLCC for the bookfair, Puchong for the Japanese Shabu Shabu. of all that, it's a celebration right?
