Rambutan Fest

The two roommies and I had already spotted something very alluring since several weeks ago. the scenery outside of our window is so tempting.

i know it's confusing. what is so tempting outside there?

perhaps ZOOM larger?

do you get it?

this should be obvious enough?

and on the very monotonous saturday afternoon, finally we couldnt refrain any longer.

Get it!? the two roommies and i are the pencuri rambutan rumah jiran. hahahahha! =P

Hasil-hasil yang agak lumayan. XD

the me of being so gay with the rambutan. =) excuse me for the swollen eyes and messy me. XD. really very excited. my very first 19 years old of life's attempt to pluck myself my own rambutan. hahaha

haha. let talk about something educational.
rambutan is one of the well known local fruit in my mother country, Malaysia. Rambutan commonly is red from the outside covered with thin-hairy-like component. That's why it is named as RAMBUTan. =) When the outer skin is peeled, there u will see this rather juicy white yellowish fruit. Captivating enough, u'll eat the whole thing up remain its seed.

so, the whole process of plucking the rambutan, shooting few crazy photos, munching the rambutans to satisfy our own desperation took less than half and hour until the bag of rambutan turned like this:-

and we decided to pluck again soon.
how good to have free rambutan right?

Case Study

nice nice? please say it is nice. aww.. i love the flowers and the little candle that enlightens the centre part of the pot. =) this was taken on today's case study at Istana Hotel.

Accompanied few of my friends to this Spa centre in Kuala Lumpur. That is me and miss Cendy Hon. =) The case study was good. The supervisor was really kind to provide us a complete tour to walk around the Spa Centre.

There, the supervisor explained all of our questions professionally.

everyone was busy raising all the questions they could. except adeline, xin hui

and me

obviously camwhoring when i saw so many mirrors in the gym room. XD. excuse me for the long fat b!thcy leg.(na. i'm not as what you think that lazy. just that my project is about nail treatment centre. not spa)

and busy capturing nice photos. like my first picture. and this

exotic lighting. successfully stands up in the dim room

the case study to the Spa Centre was the best one for the whole day long. but in the process when doing my own research in Nail Salon and Cosmetic, the feeling of being rejected was truly frustrating. Those people.. those attitude.. those service. I HATE NEW YORK, the skin solution centre. like what adeline said, do not go NEW YORK even though your complexion turns crap and popped with uncountable imperfection. Don't they realized? the way they serve us like this will definitely scratch their own reputation. Can't they just be nice like Mary Chia, Adonis, Aster Spring and Colour Culture?

stop about the emo stuff, i still have to continue to accomplish my very first individual project of the year two:
Nail Treatment Centre/ Nail Salun. =D

P.S: i am off to sleep at 11.15p.m. how incredible. and there is no class again tomorrow

One Camera One Designer

I really like this photo. =P

One of the obvious things differ design students and others is that camera is so crucial for us. we dont mind to have a lousy mobile phone. what we need is a good camera. That is why DSLR is the typical aim for every of us.

Reminds me on the presentation day itself, instead of dressing up the best for that day, we were so busy shooting and shooting piles of pictures of the very best us. ALMOST each of us have our own camera. can u imagine the whole approximately 300 students with their own camera that day? we have nearly 10 DSLR from the seniors. All the taken pictures are everywhere with anyone. that you have no idea who should you get those pictures from. and the night people frantically upload pictures, similar pictures to facebook. and furiously tagging and commenting on each outstanding pictures.

P.S: now i am grateful for the whole crazy week thing =)

some of you might have already noticed. i started to bold all the little emoticons that i wrote with red. because someone told me that i love to write this all kind of little things at the end of my sentence.

=) XD =P =D and T.T

i really have no idea since when and why my blog is decorated those symbols.
i even use those in my msn conversation.
never mind, at least i know this is my style. hahahahah

Xiao Xiong Bing

talking about the Hello Panda Biscuit or what i have always used to call Xiao Xiong Bing, i just read a blog entry from xinhui. which remind me about this biscuit that i adore so much. =) my favourite flavour is always the strawberry. followed by vanilla. i never felt so terrible addicted with any single of snack before. and this is the one that i really so obsessed of.

i've finished the whole big tube in three days. and it is not the first time. hmm paiseh. second time. XD

and now, all the adorable biscuits gone. left this

feel so sorry. but i just cant help it. hahah. but serious, i swear i will not buy a big tube of xiao xiong bing anymore! unless anyone of you intend to make me die in obesity or diabetes. lolx

i'll just get small packets to cure my obsession next time. =)
try it! you'll know what i mean.

rajin-rajin membaca. haha

The End of Crazy Week

Crazy Week has officially ended now. I wonder why the orientation project is named as crazy week. it's not crazy anyway. Miss Huwi said we going to have crazy week annually. which we gave a huge sigh of sienness.. the only thing that is fun about crazy week is that we work in a big team of forty people. get to know so many people in each level and we have fun working together as a team. the boring part is that the given task is always construct something with recycle material. cant the school just think of something more creative?

okla. this is the view of our artwork from far. it's a bit different from other groups because our's are so contrast in colour. Somewhat feels like we're going through a weeding ceremony when walking through the staircase.

I'll write more about the project at Little Creations

that's our bunting. proudly stood in front of our art installation.
Bunting Team

Sketch Book.

Sketch Book Team

a valuable photo of adeline, me and raymond jie. haha. he's so damn beautiful ok.!
the year one made a short movie clip too. cant wait for the movie now. =P

I didnt really help out at the site. i know i promised to but i never knew that i would have to do the bunting, sketchbook and presentation board until the very last day. i didnt even get the chance to go there. the construction group is great. because they sweated and endured so much under the hot sun. that is really worth credited.

One of the thing that i really regretted is i didnt get to take piles of pictures with my teammates. particularly because there was around ten dslr and slr appeared that day and almost everyone on that day brought their own camera. So many cameras!!

friday night was the night most of us sat in front of our own pc. busy uploading pictures, tagging, commented on my album and well as other's album. =) It is great to know so many of you. =)

My Slurpee®licious Moment

So, have you ever tried slurpee? the cute drinks that are available at any Seven Eleven Store. I used to be loving slurpee long long time ago and eventually i stopped drinking slurpee with no apparent reason. =) but today, i bought one! =)

This is the very first nuffnang contest that i've made up my mind to participate. because it's so cute. what you have to do is just to buy a slurpee and take a good picture of you enjoying the drinking moment. then send it to http://www.nuffnang.com.my/slurpeelicious/
how cute right? click here to participate!

and u'll get the chance to win prizes in cash by just sending your most satisfying picture. how easy right?

well, i suppose this evening was an impromptu encounter with slurpee.

i took one plastic cup and filled the whole cup with slurpee!

and not forgetting to throw a big smile towards the camera..=)

yay! and i finally get one precious slurpee from seven eleven!

The Three Starting Weeks

weird. when i work, travel, rest and hangout on my summer break, i always got this mindset that i would be suffocating with busy schedule and hectic life when the school hit me back after 5months of holiday. each of the day i find myself gasping for air because i have the thoughts that each of the day my precious holidays are flying away. i must fill everything with something to do. and so, my time is fully occupied during the summer break. the holidays finally ended. and of college, basically i go to college everyday at nine thirty in the morning and walk back home four or five in the afternoon. supposedly i have no homework to do at home. when the holidays finally ended, i have no idea why college somewhat feels like it is wasting my time. this is the effect of too having too long holidays!

most of the nights the housemates and i would wonder what else we can do. go out for dinner would definitely kills the time. so we did. we went somewhere else to eat by cab. the whole process is include waiting for cab, go to the destination, arrived and pick a restaurant or pick seats, finish the meal, jalan-jalan waste some time because for the fact that the night is still young, then catch another cab to go home. the whole process always takes more than three hours. most of the time i will receive some calls from supervisors, friends, forwarded message asking me work. hell, stop begging/forcing/pleading me to work. T__T i cant bear to risk my second year. i need to focus. because the last two years of my course would be tough and utmost vital for me. but when we as in housemates, decided to stay at home, all of us will be staring at our respective computer for hours. facebooking, blogging, reading blogs, youtubing, dramaing, msning and the list goes on. (except for that i've stacked all my clothes into one pail that high but still i refuse to wash.. i hate washing clothes OK. erm, excuse me for that) this is how the nights are being shot down.

once one of us starts to complain BORING OH. then another one of us will say, U BETTER TOUCH WOOD. and yes, we did touch wood every time we said boring. i wonder, what would next week will be like?

it's October already. two months more until my birthday. but, i really dont want to turn twenty. no!

Crazy Week II

i dont know what what's wrong with me today. i got this horrible feeling and mood swing. morning college on the saturday is bad. dont ask me out. i am not in the mood. i just feel like sitting whole day in the house. keep myself shut. eat and sleep, procrastinate the sketchbook part. blogging, facebooking and shut down until the next day. hopefully sunday is a good day.

well about college, everything is fine. crazy week is still going on. finalized the design of our Public Art. It is something to do with my college's staircase with the concept of organic and angular shapes. inspired by tree roots. and the message we are trying to project is about global warming.

speaking about global warming, our earth obviously is enduring serious global warming!! the extreme weather changes are killing me!! i am feeling super duper hot in my room for the sunny day. and freaking freezing cold when it rains. even sometimes when it rains, the weather could be still freaking stiff and hot. What's wrong with the earth? a house with air-cond is a must right now!

ok. where was i?
about crazy week project,

Construction group battling hard in building the public art. Just that i feel rather sorry for them because they need to endure under the scorching sun and deal with all those wire mesh and technical stuff. As for the first year student, they are now busying preparing for the movie part and the sketchbook. kind of curious about the outcome of the movie though.

as for me, after lending a little hand to the construction group i jumped back to the bunting group. Did those colouring for my group logo (COTREE) and the bunting. the painting was fun. cute. at least it felt like returning to my childhood fantasy.

and before finish up the bunting with the finishing, the girls and i started to SS snapping lots of pictures with my bunting.
cute right?

crazy week will be officially ended on this upcoming friday. which partly means the battle in the year two will begin in a short time!

Common look?

i dunno la.. why lately wherever i go there must be someone bumped into me telling me that i look familiar or they have seen me somewhere else. first one i dont remember when. but it always happen that the customers that i am serving would say so. then there was this time i went for an interview and a new girlfriend of mine said i really look very familiar. even yesterday, the promoter at the watson wondering hard where did she saw me before. but the thing is cant remember them at all. if i encountered twice of third time then i wouldnt bother that much. but when the number exceeded more than 7 people... i started to wonder...do i really have such a common look?

Mid Autumn

It was mid autumn yesterday. i still remember the previous year of the same day, with the curious me asked my friends how did mid autumn, mooncake and tanglung all these came about. but now, i once again have forgotten the whole story. haha. how nenek'ish me. oh well, i guess i just keep quiet.

i used to be the same ordinary little girl always anticipate for a cute little lantern. parents always get me a traditional one. you know those made of paper with little flower patterns on it and you have to be extra careful when holding the tanglung if not u'll end up crying at that night for burning the paper tanglung. unlike those rich kids that they always have a cartoon tanglung made of plastic completed with electronic lighting inside. which i always envy of. As i grow older, people say adults dont play lantern. those are children's game. Who say so? i still anticipating for the day everyone lights the candle and raise their tanglung. unfortunately this year, we have no tanglung. too late to get one. T.T

on the previous year, for me i would say it was a golden gathering between friends. we are not as blessed as those local people that they are able to celebrate every occasion with the family. so that night, we worked out together moved the dining table to the parking area, cooked the pot of tangyuan together. ate everything up with the round full moon accompanied us throughout the whole night. It wasn't just that. the whole blissful night was tuned with few chinese songs like yue liang yuan. =) the ambience was simply great. this year we had lesser people. but it's still ok. at least we didnt make up our mind to stare at our own computer at home playing games, drama or facebooking.

anyhow, we managed to fulfill our self-hunger of moon cake (yue bing) and glutinous rice balls (tang yuan)

thanks for the great buddies waited for me back from the work.

the cute little glutinous balls..

another pot of tang yuan!

thats me with the lux uniform.
