Beverages That Pull You Awake

All right. as the hectic days (NO ITS WEEKS) go on everyday, you will definitely need extra hours to accomplish assignments and projects. i always wish that there were 36hours per day. Rushing homework like a cow, u definitely need to stay awake. if not, LATE SUBMISSION. do you know how serious it is to submit project late for a design student?

this entry will be about the beverages that i've taken to keep me awake for hectic college life.

One of the most typical beverage that people will take to pull the muscles of their eyes is COFFEE. which the Malaysian's coffee lover definitely will choose nescafe.
i'm not a coffee person to begin. i dont know how people tend to drink coffee like water per day. this is like swallowing a big tong of caffeine and flood yourself to death. Coffee is no.1 NO NO for me.


so. this is nescafe.

aside from coffee, there is also so many other types of caffeinated drinks. for instance, coffee family: mocha, latte, cappuccino, tiramisu. tea family: ice lemon tea, green tea, chinese tea

as coffee is a little too much for me, i will go for tea instead. which would really make me stay awake. unless the tea is too powerful like an ordinary coffee.

had this TEH TARIK early this morning at Banana Leaf, Centre Point.
i wouldnt say it taste sucky. but it is way too powerful like coffee. the symtoms aroused! heart beat fast, feeling of vomitting etc. it's only a cup man! why am i so useless
even people drink a big tong of bubble tea like this:-.


will still survive at home.
but me, i'll gone dead straight after few hours.

anyhow, the caffeinated drinks that i really adore right this second is LIPTON'S ICE TEA. which i get that from nearby grocery shop. =) maybe it is useless for so many people. but at least it works on me. =)

so, that's about caffeine. how bout energy drinks?

first tryout is LIVITA.

i've tried Livita Honey and Livita Pineapple. it tasted somehow like a cough medicine. which is really awful on the first sip. but later on tasted okay. like sort of soft drinks.

but LIVITA is USELESS
i fall asleep no longer afterwards

thinking of maybe i should purchase the original flavour instead, i get this the very first Livita in the market

ok la. still USELESS.

after listening to one of my house mate's recommendation, i went to get RED BULL instead
.

it tasted much horrible than Livita. like the original cough medicine!

pathetically, it still USELESS.


Life is tough as a student.

i've tried Brand's Prune and Orange. i couldnt accept the huge changes. still the original one is the best! =)

but erm. dont think brands work a well. it just a little self-remedy to stay healthy.

upon so many drinks, finally me along with a bunch of housemates decided to boil some traditional herbs to repair of lungs and health...
this is the second packet that we purchased. the first one i dont really remember what does it call. help xinhui! eric!

and we going to make one pot on this coming saturday


Aside from that, there is only carbonated drinks that the teenagers believe it works to cure sore throat, flu and little sick that would attack when one is lack of sleep.
there 100 PLUS!

but do remember to drink it in normal temperature room. fridge in the refrigerator isnt working.

above all, the tablets that is a must-consume item is the VITAMIN C.

Blogging Fun

i know i havent been blogging lately. i have been trying hard to gasp thin air. inhale and exhale is not easy as usual. college works are loaded. tension arousing, sleepless nights, pimples breaking, eye bags and circles obvious enough to be labelled as a little panda. i wreak off my eating habits. had period confusion but luckily didnt hit with troublesome gastric. (OH please TOUCH WOOD). gastric always is the disaster. somehow the only good advantage is that i lost few kilos. =) a bad way to lose weight huh.

haha. maybe i'm too exaggerating in above. but this is true. i'm living like i'm walking in dead. housemate warned us that we must at least sleep two hours no matter what because there are this gruesome news saying that there are a number of limkokwing students died because of staying awake for too long. after a student from One Academy died, their working load has lessen appropriately. darn. wait until the next victim in KBU only the workload lessened? T__T i bet the direct intake students never knew that kbu is that insane.

and i shouldnt be blogging now. but blogging is truly a sin. i have no idea since when blogging is like a daily routine for me. maybe not daily but it is like i must at least post something in a week. but am grateful because i write my thoughts here. it somehow turn to be a space for me to sit down relax and away from tension. looking back to the old entries am grateful again because i never fail to record all the memories and things happened throughout my life. this is a blessing. =) i wanted to blog so many things right now. but time does not allowed.

about nuffnang. blogging to make money never slip into my mind before. and i never feel like wanting to turn my blog to be a commercialized one. writing for ads is odd. participate in competitions are weird. but it goes different nowadays when i truly see the fun behind blogging. i wish my close friends blog like me. its always i am alone. back to nuffnang. i first took part in one of the competition few months back. and i really found the fun in writing and winning prizes! i get a Sony MP3 player from Darlie All Shine White, free premier tickets of Christmas Carol and Ninja Assasin and now i was awarded the second place of the best blog post of the Storm Warrior. remember the chun lee post?
the five best blog entry is able to meet the two stars and party with them. =) i now have two red carpet passes. =) which i am really excited right now. adding with the prize giving ceremony and stuff like that. this is like so unreal. =) i know lots of nuffnangers said this like hundred of times edi. but still. thanks nuffnang. =D

4Belas by MSID

EmpatBelas organized by MSID (Malaysia Society of Interior Designer) was awesome. the awesomeness of awesome is just indescribable. Before the very eventful day everyone was worried about their own respectively projects and assignments that were about to due soon. even myself i didnt even have enough time to work on my project. I sleep only 2-3hours per day how could i bear to go for competition that kill my whole saturday?

i brought some sketches and plans along. who knows i could slip in to do some homework there. but i was wrong, the day was fully occupied with activities. IT WAS REALLY BLASTING. We all was like totally forgotten about the ongoing project. who cares! 4belas counts! the event was like the unity of every college in penisular malaysia. which includes my own college KBU International College, UCSI, LimKokWing, PJCAD, MIA, ALFA, UiTM Shah Alam and Perak and the list goes on. we cheered and gone insane in the event. the day started off with registration and speeches. we did mural painting on the afternoon.


Together with 5 other teammates, xinhui, wayne, cheawen, ai lin and chehmay we worked on the mural painting or what people always used to say wall painting. we drew everything professionally with scale ruler and measurement tape which no other groups were doing. we brought whole set of stationery. the kbu slogan was awesome. from the first cheering from the total 30 kbu fellows, we cracked with laughter and of course, touched. our college is the most supportive among all school. we never stop encouraging each other to do something awesome.

although we didnt win the grand prize worth of rm1000 from nippon paint, but deep inside our heart we have won. as long as we enjoyed the moment right? everyone was really disappointed with the result. how impossible we didnt even manage to emerge the top 3 among all colleges. this is entirely nearly impossible. i thought we did a great painting and both ailin and i made a great presentation with the 3 judges. i am so disappointed. awfully disappointed. sigh.. possibly disqualified for certain reasons. who knows..

when the competition results were announced one by one but still we didnt win anything yet, i could see everyone's expression changed dramatically. some with their afraid and nervous look. praying that please announce kbu. but unfortunately no. lecturers that bragged about how good their students to another lecturers started to shut up. this was very sorrowful. but at last we successfully grabbed back two prizes back home. champion of performance which obviously we won this prize for the third year already and second place for the commercial break. the performance by the year one students were awesome. at the end of the show we stood proudly up and sang the ending some together with them. and so, the night ended with lots of fabulous group photos and memories.

although this year we didnt win as much prizes as the previous year, but nevermind, we still have next year. my last year as a student

Adeline's 20th

i thought the rice cake is the weirdest/cutest thing already
but after times, the art students came out with even more creative last minute cake.

hahhaa.. want to know the ingredients and the secret method to produce this cake?
1. find a nice steel plate. which apparently we used the birthday girl's plate
2. scribbling over the refrigerator for something that is able to support the birthday candles. aha! my overdue-d loaf a bread
3. pour one big cup of marbles and pebbles on it. which was the materials i used for my projects.
4. last but not least place some candles to indicate the age of the birthday girl/boy! we put two because she is 20!

sorry la. it's not that we were that kiamsiap to buy a proper birthday cake. but college workloads were killing. thinking that we should do something at least when the clock strike twelve that night, we suddenly came out with this idea. a very impromptu one

counting back the old days we met two years ago in this house. as housemates. as time passes there were ups and downs to go through college life until we reach today.

Go Go Go! You Can Do It!

today is tuesday. i fainted on my distorted garfield/hello kitty bed at SIX in the morning for three (3) TIGA hours only. i know i shouldnt blog at this point. but i need a space to release. all the seconds i inhale and exhale so hardly but still the tension is that overwhelming.

today is my roommate, Adeline Ying's Birthday. we should sneak out an hour or two for a dinner. if not this will be the suckiest birthday of hers ever. happy birthday adeline! wanted to dedicate an entry for you. but sighh** have to postpone for now.

as long as i live, i will not let myself die. sounds ridiculous.
i wonder how long does "GO GO GO! YOU CAN DO IT!" works.
being an optimistic person has really saved my life. but optimism does not appears all the time. like now. but after now.. please be optimistic back cayenne. self-motivation again. siggghhh

today, i wont have the chance to faint another time on my bed. chicken essence and livita are my secret weapons to pull the muscle of my eyes to stay awake until go through the very nine o'clock lecture. T.T

this is what i used to dream of when i was still small. to play with swords flying with what they so called light kungfu. =) you know, when u just done watching some thrilling kungfu drama/movie u'll like go excited to jump and pose with any-almost-weapon-alike tools. e.g: broom, steel ruler or baseball stick.

if i am a storm warrior, i will be a cute petite warrior that fights just like no other macho guys. girls can fight you know?

Howling at The New Moon

After a year worth waiting finally Twilight Saga's New Moon is screening soon!

I am SO EXCITED over it! =)

Reading is apart of my hobby when i first entered the secondary school. my favourite range is always the romance and horror book. Can you believe it? Once Twilight Saga was hotly discussed among storybooks reader i was actually one of them. Twilght Saga is not a horror movie but it's more to romance. which coincidentally is my cup of tea. =)

So this entry will be a sharing of what do i like about Twilight Saga

It was back a year when i first watched Twilight in the cinema. Golden Screen Cinema (GSC), One Utama to be exact. =) It never really attracted me until i watched the movie by my own. It was also because of the movie i wanted so much to read the whole set of Twilight Saga books. And no longer after the movie, i read the first book, Twilight! =)

unlike most of the girls, they like this movie because of Edward Cullen. The handsome vampire below.
the first scene of him is in the school cafeteria. He is well built with handsome look, pale white skin and sharp beautiful eyes. Edward Cullen was crazily discussed in facebook no longer after everyone caught with the movie last year. Someone even made this fans club for Edward Cullen. See how attractive you are EDWARD! hahaha

unlike me, i like this movie because of the story line. the faith of a couple. the eternity love between Isabella Swan or better known as Bella with Edward Cullen is so touching and heartbreaking in another hand. They are obviously two different creature. one is a human who aged as a teenager and one is a vampire that lived in the earth for more than hundred years. One who eats normally and one is always thirst of human blood.

Can you imagine. Someone that is always thirst of blood tells you that he loves you. Will you freaked off or fall into?

Besides of romance and love of the two main characters, i really like the Cullen's family. Doctor Cullen/Carlisle, Emmett, Alice, Esme and so on. they are so cool and steady when dangers hit their family. This is also the first vampire story that i have seen illustrates the vampires deserve a warm family. =) Moreover, one of the most impressive values is that the Cullens have the courage to live together with human without harming them. but helping them.

so basically i read only a book out of four books. i'm going to catch up with the New Moon first and spend my quality time in reading the second book on my christmas break. =)


i watch the movie before i read the book. to avoid disappointment i guess. hahha

this movie IS A MUST WATCH ONE! =)

Long long time ago, there was a girl by the name of Kuriching. She was one of her master's favourite student but somehow, she was being underestimated by the other male ninjas in the society for the reason that she was a girl. How could girl become a strong ninja?

She hated the despise, underestimation and discrimination. From day to night, she trained herself in martial art to prove to the world girls can FIGHT!


she never afraid of failure and injuries. no matter how painful the process was, she battled hard with one and the only person. herself

After practicing hard. her skills did improve!
Knowing the huge improvement of Ninja Kuriching, Master Ninja decided to assign an important assassination mission to test her ability and skill. The given mission is to kill the well-known Red Ninja and bring back her head alive!!!

accepting this mission by all means she will try her best to murder and bring back Red Ninja's head although it takes her life!

"I will kill Red Ninja like how i kill this IKEA BEAR! muahahahahhaa"

and so, the battle of Ninja Kuroching and Red Ninja begun.......

Ninja Kuroching defeated Red Ninja with glory. she ended up the battle with her words of wisdom,
Do not underestimate girls. They could become brutal and cruel assassin no matter as a ninja or in real life. Girls might even b1tchier than the guys hundred more time!
