The Ugly Truth, LG Cookie Monster Party

Hola people! As promised, after the pretty fake truth here goes the ugly truth

It was like express turn-my-self-into-an-ugly-duckling.
Trust me, turn ugly is far too easy if were to compare to turn own self to a pretty princess.

#01

I was informed that the party started at 6p.m. So I thought it was okay to nap for a while since I slept really late on the day before. POOFF! I overslept and woke up at five. HOOLAAA. Initially my plan A failed! Had to proceed to plan B. Which was dressed up whatever I could for the sake of attending the monster party.

For the serious sake, I dug whatever I could get in my wardrobe and painted my face with anything any colour like serious anything. As so, I turned to a horrible ugly Dr.Slump/Mutant/LadyGaga/Ugly Betty?

Leave comment at the end of the read and tell me which one do you think I look like! =)

As expected in a blogger party, met with lots of new bloggers, old bloggers and as well as intermediate bloggers. Which one am I supposed to be categorized in?

HOWDY COWW...!

The bunch of shortlisted best costumes monster and blogpost entry winners.

Awesome-like-super I didnt go home with empty handed. I won myself Top Shop voucher worth RM100 on that night. Very simple, threw all the so-called money, climbed on the stage, munched the blueberry biscuit! Tadaaaa.. gotten myself the voucher.

I personally really think that I had received the best mystery gift out of five: a pack of milk, an insect repellent, RM100 topshop voucher, RM100 TGIF voucher and Gold Class GSC vouchers.

Don't you think so?

Aside from ugly monsters, there were also angelic ladies that danced and rocked the stage that night.

Aren't They All Our Children After All

Listening to: Aren't They All Our Children After All, Celine Dion and others (Click)

Don't look away
An innocent face

Cries, and searches for some comfort
Love will provide
What fate has denied

All they ask is simply someone

Hello people! I am going to start off today with pretty people before proceed to the ugly ones all right?

I was engaged to the Charity and Joint Installation Dinner of KBU International College and HELP University College. This time round, it was partly a recap for the previous Rotaractors visit to the Emmanuel Care Centre for disable children and partly for charity and fellowship? If you've been following my blog, you know I didnt go for the visit. I would have blogged it out if I did. =P

With arms that reach
And words that teach

We'll be their strength
In times of need

Guests and members were entertained by the singers and performances.

Sing along with the lyrics okayy?

Every boy and girl
Should dance on dreams
Around this world
Aren't they all our children after all

Who will dry their tears
And lift them up
If they should fall
Aren't they all our children after all

Who will be there
To show them loving care
They are this world's living treasure
The heart of a child

Is born to wear a smile
And feel joyful without measure

Candle Blowing Session with Dad

hello! I know it has been a week since I last blogged. But let just don't treat blogging as a responsibility shall we?

Things are rather great recently. In spite of the usual internship training, I have social salsa, event outings, gatherings and lots of tick signs to be filled in the checklist. I wanted to blog out everything happened. Soon to you I can assure. =)

Let me start with a birthday post!

Cayenne's Dad Birthday Yo. =)

Bought this cake from somewhere near my shop. Picked this Macadamia flavour as it's very uncommon flavour that I've ever seen.

but, the taste was kind of a little unacceptable. Mom says I am bad in choosing birthday cakes. *cries*

My fault to buy such birthday cake for the sake of curiosity lo. but at least there is still a cake to be blown on that day. right?

The celebration was rather simple. Just cake session for the day. My parents are not those looking forward to birthdays and treat this occasion very crucially. We have no those tradition to buy birthday presents to each other.

Mom and dad.
Mom insisted that she wants me to photoshop her pictures! but still, I am lazy. HAHA. just adjusted lighting and contrast. Original is the best. no?

Sometimes I questioned, what does it feels like when you have no longer a home that you labelled that haven as hometown?

In times, I realized as long as my parents are here, I feel home! =)

Happy Birthday Dad!

People Mountain, People Sea Bombarded Bon Odori YO

Obon (お盆?) or just Bon (?) is a Japanese Buddhist custom to honor the departed (deceased) spirits of one's ancestors. -Wikipedia

Went to Bon Odori obviously from the title.

Guys, your intention to the Bon Odori probably because wanted to see lengluis?

Or maybe girls, lengzai?

I was really awed and in envy of the girls with kimonos that night. They were so cute! =)
These girls with kimono actually did attract the crowd to approach them for pictures. Mind you, they were just same like us, as visitors.

OK, girls if you really want to be a temporary superstar for a night, do wear Kimono or Yukata, bun your hair and make-up nicely next year! =) You'll get some buzzing bees approach to you for pictures!

Here goes my review

I was welcomed by lots of crowds. lots lots lots of them. That's why the title comes as People Mountain, People Sea

The pictures tell the amazing crowds. no?

I tell you, if you've been PC Fair several times before, I can really tell you the crowd is more than that. It is as if all the Chinese around Selangor came over to the festival already!

The day time crowds

No sooner after squeezing, queuing, pushing, lelong'ing around, for one minute I think I was munching, eating, drinking and eating for quite a time.

I personally love the imported ice-cream the most. It tasted like heaven! =)
well of course, the price was a little expensive.

The cold noodles priced at RM10 was yummilicious as well and meat balls that I never tasted something like that before.

Unagi Rice, fried noodles and green tea ice-cream. owhh. super awesome

Food getting lesser and crowds getting crazily more when the night hits

Some of the ice-creams I've gotten for the thirst

I know half of the Selangor citizens went to Bon Odori. I didnt get to meet the people that I know they would be there. But bumped with people that I didn't know they will be there. If you get what I mean.

SO.... No fate huh?

One of my high school friends, Chok Vui Mit.. =)

This is Eevee

While stuck in the long queue, we'd missed out all the dances and activities.

The ambience was freaking crowded that for one moment I felt like suffocating! I am serious. I didnt get to see the traditional dances as well because I WAS NOT TALL ENOUGH.

I am 170 cm in height but still the crazy crowds blocked all my sight. What I could do was to capture photos with my hands high in the sky. I dunno this is pathetic or what.

I wanted to eat Tako Yaki. And so, I queued. Ended up I was queuing together with eevee and her boyfriend for an hour. As we finally reached the stall, NOOOOOO... Tako Yaki SOLD OUT! It was freaking sold out after we queued for more than an hour. I emo for a while. sighhh

Me, Eevee again.

Some cute little girls with their pinkish kimono. I swear I will buy my daughter at least a kimono in the future! teeheee

More girls in Japanese costume dancing and serving for the Japanese beliefs.

Well, of course guys would ended up to ask the pretty ladies politely for a picture or two. =)

It was really a nice experience to be able to see such a custom and celebration. My very first time and last time. I meant it. It could be awesome but I am not those people that like such horrid crowd. I'm so sorry.

Arigato Gozaimasu for the awesome night though
